Facing the back

My friend faces the back when we’re at shows. I’ve only just realized. He says he’s been to a thousand shows and he’s seen a thousand lights. “The back is where the action is.”

He’s facing us. He’s coming to the shows to engage with us.

I think that’s so beautiful.
